Band Bio
Formed in 2019 in Brunswick, Ga. Rider is an Alt. Country Rock band with classic rock influences and a little bit of twang. Members include: Chris Rider on rhythm guitar and vocals, Laurie Rider on rhythm guitar and vocals, Matt Starling on bass guitar, Pete Jock on lead guitar and Mike Alongi on drums.
Chris and Laurie Rider have been writing songs and singing together for over 20 years. It was in Waycross Georgia where the two first met and started their family. After trying different variations and line ups the Riders moved from Waycross to the Georgia coast and settled on the name Rider.
In 2022 the band recorded and self-released their album, One Last Taste. Currently Rider is booking shows in the southeast region of the United States.
